Sabetjohk is a mountain landscape in Birtavarre with northern Europes deepest canyon (App. 150 meters), a huge waterfall named Gorzi, and an eldorado for hiking experiences. An abondened cooper mine close by in Ankerlia, and huge lakes in Goulas, are besides the mountains and tundra itself spectacular sceneries. In August 2011 an pedestrian bridge will connect the sides of the canyon and stretch right over the waterfall. Sabetjohk is also an old sami homestead. One of the cabins remains and one other is rebuildt.
